Making a mind map

Mindmap will help you to access your earlier knowledge and ideas of climate change and it will help you to perceive the subject. When making your mind map, it is worth using as big a paper as possible that is not ruled or cross-ruled. You can also draw the map on blackboard.

Place the paper horizontally. Write and circle the topic of the mind map "Climate change locally" in the middle of the paper. Write down ideas that come into your mind and connect them to the central circle with lines. Write down one idea on one line. The words you have written on the lines may bring new ideas into your mind. Add new branches to your map. You can also use pictures and colours to make your map.

Write the mind map fast. At this point it is not worth being critical. Write down everything that comes to your mind. You can make a clean copy later if you still want to clarify your thoughts.

Make the mind map before you get acquainted with the study material's articles and exercises, and then make a new mind afterwards. This way you will see the change in your thinking.
